coal mining dangers

Coal mining is dangerous because you are in a tunnel and if the tunnel collapses then you will be trapped or killed during the collapse. The other danger is explosions. When you cut a lot of coal down from somewhere you get a lot of dust which can ignite when there is a spark or something.

Deep water horizon

I think it was the consumers fault because we are the ones asking for the oil. If we did not ask for the oil they would have never drilled for it. I think if we used wind power or something other then burning stuff we would have a better planet. Thats what I think of drilling for oil.

September 16 homework

I think that scientist thought the earth is older 6000 years old because of the land and how the land is falling apart. Like the Grand Canyon is very deep and that is from water flowing through it. They also look at the rocks and from the trees. Theres also some ring they can count to see too. Scientist are able to count how old the earth is from the rocks.
